Some inspirations this year…

Here’s some references of things I’ve noted inspiration from in 2011: ……… also in a more general way by the following, in a random order: Tim Walker, Federico Erra, Rutger ten Broeke, Yulia Gorodinski, Martin Parr, Gregory Crewdson, Guy Bourdin, Noah Kalina, and Peter Kemp – as well as the other 4 contributors of my new book.

I also highly recommend this inspirational book Art & Fear, which has really helped me this year.

Cheers to a stimulating, enlightening 2012!

I AM INCLUDED in the NEW BOOK of the english photo artist MISS ANIELA
The book is called Creative Portrait Photography – To be released spring 2012
Paperback, 160 pages

… Creative Portrait Photography is Miss Aniela’s second book. The book is loaded with valuable advice for photographers, from both a philosophical and practical viewpoint.
The book includes more of self-portraits, but also fashion images, commissions, and collaborations. Portraits in a haunted theatre, nudes with a python, trick shots jumping from disused satellite dishes and a Freud-inspired shoot in Paris .. are amongst the compelling series of portrait stories in this book, recounting the process from first test shot through to final processing retouches.

The book also has a contributor section of photographers she handpicked, are all at the forefront of creative portraiture, strong in the book’s ethos but also diverse: Kirsty Mitchell , Brooke Shaden, Peter Kemp, Susannah Benjamin and Alex Stoddard.
Their work is featured alongside their text which talks intimately about their process, their backgrounds and their ambitions.
